The Dead Waits are a two piece rock band hailing from Co. Donegal, consisting of brothers Jason and Stephen McCloskey. This guitar and drums duo started at the end of 2009, after a long period playing with various musicians and bands. For the McCloskey brothers these ensembles helped harden and hone their own music, even after those groups imploded leaving the pair feeling like leftovers(which is where the band name came from). Many influences come to mind as to what drives these two noisy siblings but they still come up with a unique sound all their own. With the release of their debut album "Get Gone", The Dead Waits conjure not only rock stylings but also blues, folk and psychedelia with an even sprinkle of weird for good measure.
